Service 01 · UK

Website design and build
for UK businesses.

Marketing sites, landing pages and storefronts that load fast, read clearly, and are easy for your team to update without calling us.

Who this is for

Small and growing UK businesses whose website is either doing nothing for them or actively getting in the way — a template site that looks like everyone else’s, a page nobody can edit without a developer, or no site at all.

What makes it different

Designed and built from scratch for your business rather than adapted from a theme. Because the same person designs and builds it, what you sign off is what gets delivered, not an approximation of it.

What you get

Included as standard.

Design from scratch

Wireframes, then real screens you review before any production code is written. No recycled templates.

Fast by construction

Built so the page is quick on a mid-range phone on mobile data, not just on fibre. Core Web Vitals addressed during the build, not patched afterwards.

Accessible by default

Keyboard navigation, sensible contrast, real semantic structure and screen-reader labelling. Required under the Equality Act for services offered to the public.

A CMS you can actually use

Your team edits copy and images without touching code or paying us to change a phone number.

SEO foundations

Clean URLs, titles and meta descriptions, structured data, XML sitemap, and a Search Console property set up and verified.

Hosting sorted

Deployed to fast, free-tier-friendly hosting with HTTPS and automatic certificate renewal. The accounts are in your name.

Common questions

The things people actually ask.

How much does a website cost?

It is quoted per project, and you get the number before any work starts. Cost depends on how many pages, whether you need a CMS or e-commerce, and how much of the content already exists. A fixed-scope quote means the figure does not move unless you ask for something new.

How long does it take?

Typically three to ten weeks from scope to launch, depending on size and how quickly content and feedback come back. You get a staging link from week one, so you can see it taking shape rather than waiting.

Do I own the website?

Yes — entirely. The code, the repository, the domain and the hosting accounts are all in your name from the start. You can take it to another developer whenever you like. That is the point.

Can I update it myself?

Yes. Anything that changes regularly goes into a CMS your team can edit. We hand over written documentation showing how, and we stay reachable if you get stuck.

Tell us what you are trying to fix.

A paragraph is enough to start. We will come back with honest questions, a rough shape, and whether we are the right people for it.
